SATURDAY SEPT 10

Wine Tasting 101

Head out onto the show floor with a bit more confidence than the next person. Carl Henrickson, the winemaker at Little Washington Winery, will lead a conversation on the basics of wine tasting. Be fore-warned the mere mention of wine with Carl could subject you to long exhaustive monologues, expose you to extremely hot air and delay you indefinitely.

The Ultimate WineGeek Quiz

Can you name what varietal you are tasting without seeing the bottle? Take our ultimate wine geek quiz and prove how good you are. Wines will be bagged for the blind tasting. A selection of different wine pairing foods will be paired with each taste. When the quiz is over, all with all the correct answers will be put into a hat for the drawing of a really nice prize!
