	Kids are people too ... they'll love flying kites, kicking balls, running 'til they're exhausted, picnicing and polo. Please be aware - Kids must stay with parents at all times.

The Wine Festival at The Plains happens rain or shine.

Have you seen our really big tents???

Essentially, you can do this entire event all indoors

under our massive wine, food and culinary stage tents that provide plenty of shade or cover.

It's not just the vendors who stay dry & in the shade at this festival!!

We'll have five 40'x180' Exhibit Halls and a 50'x20' Seminar room - all under cover.

Your ticket is good for one day only - you can choose either day - that's our way

of offering you weather insurance. Refunds cannot be provided for this event.

 

WHAT TO WEAR:

Uppity casual is the idea.

Whether you choose high heels and a big fancy hat or comfy khakis,

peddlepushers or shorts, a polo shirt, collar shirt, sweater or blazer

you'll fit right in with the crowd.

 

BRING:

Be sure to bring an official Photo ID (drivers license, passport, state issued ID)

You will NOT get a Tasters Ticket without official PHOTO IDENTIFICATION

that proves you are over 21. NO EXCEPTIONS.

 

We will have lots of grass available for picnicing on the field.

We'll also have the Locapour Picnic Blanket available for purchase for $25. 

On Sunday you can reserve rail side parking and bring your car in for a tailgate party - Order in advance.

You may also bring in a picnic blanket or chairs so you might want to throw them in the trunk.

 

If the kids are coming bring kites, frisbees or balls - the field is BIG and not in use for a couple of hours.  

Wings Over Washington will be selling kites onsite.

 

Bring a $5 bill. Great Meadow Foundation will be collecting $5 per vehicle for parking.

This fee helps preserve Great Meadow, is tax deductible, and helps pay for

some of the extra activities you will enjoy throughout the day.

 

You may bring in a regular picnic basket or backpack.

They will not be allowed on the field

We do search bags larger than a purse for security reasons.
